For Mylinda Renay Dodson-Hoard, hair has never been just a profession—it has been a lifelong calling.

Long before beginning her career in 1979, Mylinda knew she wanted to create beautiful hair and help others discover confidence through exceptional artistry. More than four decades later, that same passion continues to inspire every class she teaches, every product she develops, and every stylist she mentors.

As the Founder and Lead Educator of Haute Glam Hair Extensions, Mylinda has dedicated her career to raising the standard of professional hair extensions through luxury products, advanced education, and unwavering support for salon professionals.

Based in Grapevine, Texas, just minutes from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Haute Glam welcomes stylists from across the United States who travel to train in today's most advanced extension techniques.

A Vision Born from Experience

More than 2 decades ago, Mylinda began creating custom clip-in extensions and keratin fusion systems in pursuit of a single goal:

To develop a luxury hair extension brand that offered salon professionals everything they needed in one place.

After years of working with respected professional extension brands, she recognized opportunities to improve the stylist experience—from product performance and customization to education and ongoing support.

Those experiences became the foundation of Haute Glam Hair Extensions.

Today, Haute Glam offers a carefully curated collection of luxury extension methods, innovative tools, and comprehensive education designed exclusively for licensed salon professionals. After opening her salon in 2000, she has become recognized for her expertise, and most recently recognized for hair extensions, cutting, coloring, and has won 2 International competitions for hair and make-up.  "I accredit my success to passion for my craft and God’s natural given talent of Hair Design."  Mylinda Renay Hoard was recently named 2018 “Top Women in Business”
